National manager

by Mark Rowe

West Yorkshire-based alarm company, Securahomes, has recruited Graham Alexander, pictured, as its new National Sales and Franchise Manager.

This comes after Securahomes reports seeing a significant increase in sales, which the company states is due to homeowners’ request for monitored safety and security alarms. Graham, who has over 20 years experience, has worked with companies such as Microtec and Barry Brothers in London. He says: “Securahomes has a strong product offering, and is growing its customer based across the UK. Being part of a growing company is always a challenge and an exciting opportunity.”

Securahomes is owned by Martin Mann, who is also the company’s managing director. The firm started over 15 years ago and now looks after more than 3,000 homes in the UK. Company products include monitored burglar alarms, smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, with calls being handled remotely by Chubb.

One of Graham’s core responsibilities will be to help the company introduce its newly launched ‘AlarmConveter’, a product, which is only available through the trade and allows installers to convert any standard ‘bells only’ burglar alarms into a fully monitored house alarm.

Martin Mann adds: “I know Graham will be a good fit within Securahomes. He understands the industry and our products very well and I, like the other members of the Securahomes family are looking forward to working with him.”
