Cooper Security sales man

Cooper Security has appointed Rod Wilson as its new area sales manager for the south-east.

Wilson is tasked with covering installers and distributors in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, East Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex. He is also responsible for contributing to the business development for the region.

With over 30 years’ experience within the security sector in installation, sales, account management and remote monitoring, Wilson has worked for a number of well known regional and national companies.

Wilson said: ‘Having worked in the security industry since I was 17, I’ve long admired Cooper Security’s ability to set the bar in terms of product innovation and manufacturing excellence. I’m delighted to be joining the company at a time when it is one of the industry’s most respected names, thanks to its diverse portfolio of reliable and well-designed products such as the Scantronic i-on range of intruder alarm panels. I look forward to playing a key part in taking the company to the next level of success.’
