David will be responsible for managing technical enquiries, whether over the phone or by site visit. He will also be tasked with leading the division’s training courses for its customers – OEMs and system integrators.

Having graduated from the University of the West Scotland in 2015, David went onto work for eXPD8, installing and monitoring security for retailers in London and the South East.

He said: “ASSA ABLOY Access Control has established itself as a global leader in supplying wireless locking technology for commercial building projects across the UK, and I am thrilled to be part of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge and expertise with the company, helping to oversee any engineering queries or challenges that customers might be facing.”

And Gareth Ellams, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Access Control, added: “We are delighted to have David join the team. His technical expertise will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to our business moving forward. The additional investment in our technical team is part of our commitment to further enhancing this service to our customers, as well as enabling us to work proactively with our new and existing partners benefiting from the technical advancements of our Aperio platform.”
