The security firm Securitas is holding a public transport seminar at the London Transport Museum on Thursday, February 23. The hosts are Andrea Soehnchen, Strategic Development Director PT and Geoff Zeidler, Country President UK. The aim, the company says, is to stimulate a dialogue with customers and other interested operators.
Michael Maynard, formerly Head of Operational Support at London Underground , will open the day with an address on public transport security – ‘finding the right dosage’. Speakers invited are Ricardo Ortega, of TMB Barcelona in Spain; Diane Groom, of WYPTE in the UK; and after lunch, Frank Bontje, of NS Dutch Railways; John Dietz, of Abellio, and Andrea Soehnchen, of Securitas AB. The event organiser is Nick Cooper, Branch Manager for Securitas Security Services, in Wakefield.
