Rotterdam is the venue for the annual ASIS Europe 2018 event, from April 18 to 20. The event focus: securing organisations in the era of IoT and how Enterprise Security Risk Management (ESRM) can protect a full range of physical, digital, and human assets.
The “From Risk to Resilience” event format launched in Milan in March 2017 will be repeated, with its mix of conference, training, technology exhibition, career center, and networking.
The conference’s theme is “Blurred Boundaries—Clear Risks”. Conference chair Eduard Emde, CPP, Head of the Health, Safety and Security Section, at the ESA (European Space Agency) says: “Through the blurring of boundaries, security and risk aspects become more diffuse, more complex and unpredictable. This event is designed to help security professionals know how risks can be assessed and acted on effectively – not in disclaimers or legal arrangements but by having the actual risk owner and users make informed decisions.”
