Estuary Housing Association is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced Security Guarding Service provider to carry out a patrolling service and other security services on a residential housing estate of approx 700 dwellings in Southend-on-Sea, Essex.
The functions to be carried out will include patrolled guarding, application of accredited powers and liaison with Estuary staff, Essex police and estate residents as required.
The successful provider must have SIA registration from the outset and will be required to obtain accreditation with Essex Police in accordance with the requirements of the Community Safety Accreditation Scheme.
The estimated annual value of this contract is £100k per annum and Estuary Housing Association envisages awarding this contract to a maximum of one provider only.
The contract will be for a two-year period from December 2013 until November 2015, with option to extend for up to a further two years.
