Mirasys has two additions to its Technology Partner Programme.

LG and Hikvision will join as ‘Platinum’ Partners, given insight into Mirasys’ product roadmap, testing and demonstration licenses and go-to-market resources, including documentation. LG and Hikvision join a growing number of manufacturers already signed up to the technology partner programme including Samsung and Axis.

Non-proprietary surveillance platforms are increasingly in demand as businesses look for CCTV according to the firms that will offer longevity while meeting short-term security requirements. Mirasys says that it’s committed to providing customers with open platform video monitoring systems, hence the Technology Partner Programme to continue collaborating with camera and analytics providers.

“We are delighted to join the Mirasys Technology Partner Programme,” said Jin-yong Kim, Senior Vice President of Commercial Display & Security Division, LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company. “LG’s IP-based high technology meets Mirasys’s open platform based VMS software to provide customers with broad choices in security solutions. Collaborating with Mirasys will enable us to develop products that can be easily integrated, allowing our valuable customers to experience LG security solutions more closely.”

Tony Yang, International Marketing Directorat Hikvision said: “IP and megapixel cameras are getting more and more popular in the marketplace, and working with Mirasys through the Technology Partner Programme will allow us to ensure that our latest technologies and product innovations can be delivered to customers through Mirasys, and vice versa, as soon as they are released to market.”

Jukka Riivari, chief executive officer at Mirasys, said: “Developing partner relationships is a top priority for Mirasys, and the Technology Partner Programme aligns with a clear strategy of working with leading vendors and distributors globally to drive Mirasys’ growth across EMEA, the Middle East, APAC and the US. By stating a commitment to work together at both the customer level and through product development and marketing, Mirasys and its partners hope to drive technical innovation, nurturing key relationships and enabling new business opportunities for all involved.”
