The City of London Police is asking victims of fraud in the aim to give the new National Fraud Reporting Centre will provide the best possible service.
More than 150 individuals and organisations are being invited to complete an online survey about their experiences of fraud. All those being contacted have fallen victim to fraudsters in recent years and the crime investigated by the City of London Police.
Det. Ch Supt Steve Wilmott, Head of the Economic Crime Department said: “This survey will bring together the perceptions and experiences of dozens of victims of fraud. The information will help us assess the service the City of London Police has provided and ensure that we continue to improve as we become the UK’s lead force for economic crime.”
The feedback will also be helpful to officers planning the UK’s National Fraud Reporting Centre (NFRC). The new service operated by the City of London Police will be the central hub of reports of fraud and will include direct reporting for both individuals and companies.
