Charity total

by Mark Rowe

ST13 London – Security TWENTY 13, the series of conferences and exhibitions around the UK by Professional Security magazine – ran at the Novotel West London at Hammersmith on Wednesday, July 3. Besides the talking and networking, money was raised at the dinner the evening before for Leuka, the London-based leukaemia charity. Pictured left to right are Roy Cooper, Professional Security magazine MD, and Karen Linfield, Community Fundraising Coordinator and Hospital Liaison for the charity. Roy Cooper writes:

Leuka received a cheque for £2,100 on the Tuesday evening. Karen Linfield told me: “It really will make a difference.” The bucket collection on Wednesday during the conference and exhibition raised another £106.02, also paid in to the charity.

Thanks go to all of you for donating so generously during the heads and tails game (have you got the hang of it by now?!), and generally during the event.

The next ST13 event is at Newcastle, at the Gosforth Park Marriott. Visit the event page.

On the evening of Monday, September 23 we will be hosting a three course informal networking dinner at the hotel to encourage attendees to network and mingle in a relaxed atmosphere ahead of the conference, on Tuesday, September 24. To book as a delegate to the conference (free) – follow this link.
