Chelsea console

by msecadm4921

At Chelsea Football Club a new security console for the Champions League-winning club’s security offices was supplied by control room furniture supplier Thinking Space.

As part of a grander refurbishment of the offices, Thinking Space designed and built a bespoke control desk to fit in the crescent shaped security suite. The desk itself includes various elements of Thinking Space’s product range, the TSS aluminium console, a built in Evolution wall for mounting large flat screen monitors and several monitor mounting brackets from the Novus More Space range.

The creative desk design was instrumental in Thinking Space’s winning of the contract. Security Director Keith Overstall said: “The innovative design and layout of the Thinking Space solution showed a true understanding of the previous problems we were encountering. The finished article maximises the space to its full potential and is exactly what we were expecting it to be.”

The console also featured the NEW “Plug and Play” style solution from Thinking Space that incorporates all data and power services in the rear of the desk. All are connected to an isolator switch to ensure compliance with onsite electrical standards.
