Trimec range

by Mark Rowe

UNION, part of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the physical security and door product company, has announced that the Trimec range will be migrated into its portfolio from March 2017.

The company says it’s broadening its range of mechanical locks into electromechanical strikes, offering the customer a complete door hardware package. UNION says that it can concentrate its R&D efforts, for a more extensive range of electromechanical products.

Eryl Jones, Managing Director of ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, says: “Specialising in electric strikes and an impressive range of patented electromechanical technologies since 1990, Trimec has established a reputation for itself as a leading provider of superior electromechanical locking solutions. This reputation will continue under UNION.

“The benefits to this are three-fold. Firstly, it means customers have access to a one-stop shop for door hardware solutions. Secondly, it allows us to consolidate our R&D activities, ensuring we can continue to strengthen UNION’s product portfolio with electromechanical technologies. Finally, it means we can offer a comprehensive range of solutions for the commercial market, meeting our customers’ every need.”

Trimec marketing literature will be updated throughout the year. Trimec product codes will not be changed and customers can continue to order using the existing ones. Visit www.uniononline.co.uk/trimec.
