RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award 2021

by Mark Rowe

VPS, the specialist void property and related security services firm, has gained an internationally recognised award for demonstrating health and safety standards. The contractor has received a RoSPA Gold Health and Safety Award 2021. The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) receives nearly 2,000 entries every year.

Darron Cavanagh, Chief Operating Officer for VPS Group, said: “Our staff have always strived to set new safety standards and benchmarks so that they, our customers and our suppliers can be assured that our operations are conducted at the highest levels of safety. Many security firms will cut corners when it comes to safety, but VPS will not, and I am proud my colleagues have been recognised by RoSPA, and their main sponsor, NEBOSH, the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health.

“Our clients select VPS because of our Intelligent Triple Protection proposition, our experience and ability to recommend the best fit-for-purpose security solutions. RoSPA’s recognition of our safety standards backs up our market-leading position.”

And Julia Small, RoSPA’s achievements director, said: “This award recognises the best of the best, those organisations that have gone the extra mile, raising the bar for the delivery of safety in the workplace.”
