Traka 21, the key management and tracing product for small and medium-sized businesses, is now offered by ASSA ABLOY Access Control, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY. The product locks each key or keyset stored in the system.
The product allows users to trace and manage up to 21 keys, with access to keys granted via a PIN. By controlling and recording whenever a key is used, a business can trace who has accessed a key at any time, the makers say. This record can then be viewed on the cabinet’s display, or can be exported via a USB pen drive.
The product features RFID, a touchscreen interface, and does not require a network connection or PC to operate. The standalone system is also mains operated, and is offered with optional battery back-up.
