Lock projects

by Mark Rowe

ASSA ABLOY is hailing its 20 years of work for projects from universities to hospitals and castles to canals.

One in every ten lock and security installations worldwide now uses ASSA ABLOY products, the firm says, including in the healthcare, education, commercial and heritage sectors. Over the last 20 years, Security Solutions, a division of ASSA ABLOY UK, has supplied such heritage projects as Edinburgh Castle, pictured, and The Canal and River Trust, providing specifications that have adhered to the restrictions of listed buildings.

ASSA ABLOY has also experience within the healthcare sector, providing security in doctors surgeries, general hospitals and care homes. And in the education sector, it’s provided for primary and secondary schools, colleges, university buildings and student accommodation. Adams Rite, UNION and ASSA, brands under the Security Solutions business unit, have installed products for students and staff. The manufacturer also has experience in the commercial sector, with Security Doors supplying such projects such as The Shard and Canary Wharf.

Tina Hughan, Marketing Director for ASSA ABLOY, said: “ASSA ABLOY’s project portfolio is extensive to say the least. Our ability to offer tailored solutions to individual projects has made us a popular choice for supplying security solutions across a breadth of developments for the last 20 years.” Visit www.assaabloy.co.uk/securitsolutions.
