Eaton has appointed Mark King, pictured, as commercial director of lighting and safety products. King said: “It’s an exciting time to join the company, with great opportunities to build customer relationships and drive the Eaton brand forward within the lighting industry. This role will enable me to focus on driving continued growth through technological leadership. With Eaton’s deep expertise and innovation, we can continue to develop the next generation of LED technology and ensure we continue to provide best-in-class commercial and industrial lighting solutions.”
King has moved from Havells Sylvania where he was product director for Europe. He has experience in lighting and safety products, having started his career as an account manager at ECS Philips. After experience as marketing manager at Apex Lighting Solutions, King moved on to Thorn Lighting, where he spent seven years as a field marketing manager.
Recent additions to Eaton’s portfolio include a range of LED emergency luminaires, mains lighting options for industrial applications and luminaires for offices, leisure, retail and other commercial spaces.
Eaton’s lighting range will be on show at Light + Building 2016, in Frankfurt from March 13 to 18.
