Joint stand at Counter Terror Expo

by Mark Rowe

ASSA ABLOY UK is exhibiting at this year’s Counter Terror Expo, showcasing two of its business units on a joint stand.

Held at Olympia, London, on April 29 and 30, the two business units – ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions and ASSA ABLOY Security Doors – will exhibit on stand K65, showcasing security hardware, and timber and steel doorsets.

Visitors to stand K65 will see ASSA’s CLIQ Remote product, pictured – a key control system, which adds to its CLIQ electromechanical cylinder range, providing electromechanical locking without the makers claim the associated cost and complexity. Using ASSA dp technology, CLIQ Remote is designed for larger masterkey suites, remote sites and companies with a spread of operations. The stand will also display UNION’s range of High Security Padlocks, as well as its British Standard (BS3621) five lever mortice deadlock, for applications with anti-pick anti-drill and anti-saw security features.

Adams Rite’s commercial Multipoint Lock, Sentinel M will also be on display; Adams Rite worked closely with a number of systems houses at its UKAS accredited testing facility to develop Sentinel M which achieved BS EN 1627, proving its resistance to casual or opportunist attack via brute force and manipulation.

ASSA ABLOY Security Doors will show samples from Powershield steel doors and Safeguard timber doorsets. Designed, made, and often installed by ASSA ABLOY Security Doors, they have been specified across applications, including museums, banks and hotels.

Tina Hughan, Head of Marketing for ASSA ABLOY UK, said: “Between the two businesses, we have a huge amount to talk about at this year’s Counter Terror Expo. Through years of experience in large and complex specifications, across commercial, public sector and industrial projects, ASSA ABLOY has tailored its product ranges to provide a complete high security offering, operating to the most stringent security and access standards.”
