Hospitality appointment

by Mark Rowe

Allegion (formerly Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies) has announced an appointment for the safety and security product firm in the electronic access control market in the UK hospitality sector.

Colin Green has joined as Area Sales Manager Hospitality, covering the Midlands and North regions. He’s worked in the security and hospitality sectors in a career spanning 18 years. Colin will work with independent hotels, small and large hotel groups, and hotel management companies.

With a remit to build a profitable market share and brand image for Allegion’s CISA eSIGNO brand of electronic access control products, Colin will focus on sales and relationships with targeted customers. He will provide support for customers through to installation, and he will then implement feedback procedures.

Paul Taylor, UK Sales Leader for CISA Hotel Locking Systems at Allegion, said: “Colin has a proven track record as a very successful sales manager, and his commercial acumen and customer focus lead me to believe he will be a real asset to the team. Colin has already demonstrated his understanding of the hospitality sector and sound product knowledge, and I expect he will play a key role in the growth of Allegion’s market share.

Colin added: “I am very excited about joining Allegion and positively contributing to the business as the CISA eSIGNO team looks to capitalise on all opportunities to constantly drive expansion across the hospitality market place.”

The makers say that the CISA eSIGNO range combines Italian design with practical features which integrate with the day-to-day running of modern hotels. The portfolio includes hotel locking systems, contactless locks, electronic cylinders, energy savers, safes and minibars.
