GJD at ISC West

GJD, the British manufacturer and designer of external detector equipment, as well as Infra-Red and White-Light LED Illuminators, recently showcased its perimeter detection products at ISC West for the first time. Pictured at the stand is GJD MD Mark Tibbenham.

The company’s technical engineers gave an interactive display, including of new IP detectors and lights, external wired and wireless detectors as well as intelligent lighting, including the new Clarius Plus LED illuminators and the Pearl Triple Tech Curtain Detector.

The D-TECT 2 IP intrusion detector saw visitors interested in the benefits it provides for both the security and IT sectors., the makers say The IP detector works with a bespoke web based interface affording intuitive online access. A user can change all of the detector settings remotely via the interface. Some of the adjustable settings include the ability to alter the LUX level trigger, sensitivity and detection range as well as enabling detection activation for specific times of the day.

ISC West is the largest physical security event in the Americas and is attended by over 28,00r. Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, International Sales and Marketing Director said afterwards: “A large number of installers and distributors showed a keen interest in our products, providing us with some high quality leads. Overall we feel the exhibition was really well organised and was a great success.”
