At The Mereside Hotel in Douglas on the Isle of Man, electronic handle sets have been fitted. The products are now also being installed at the HQ Bar & Restaurant’s two other four-star independent hotels, The Glen Mona and The Rosslyn.
Mul-T-Lock SMARTair is a wire free product designed to upgrade mechanically locks into fully functional access control security, with the makers say minimal modification to doors and premises.
Described as an all in one access control system, Mul-T-Lock says that its product removes the need for expensive data cabling and re-wiring and simply operates from a unique management card, so user fobs can be added or removed as required. The electronic handle sets were initially recommended to HQ Bar by local Mul-T-Lock dealers MC Locksmiths Services Limited, to improve key management at the Mereside Hotel.
