Physical Security

Data centre projects

ASSA ABLOY UK Specification, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the physical security product company, reports that it’s completed high profile data centre security projects.

ASSA ABLOY UK Specification offers doorsets to complex access control systems, taking the firm says a design-led, holistic approach to specification. According to the firm, a successful security specification is one that meets the client brief, offers the most suitable security solution for the project requirements, and provides a user-friendly interface. It uses BIM technology to assess whole life cycle costs.

Allan Thomson, Specification Director at ASSA ABLOY UK, said: “Data is a precious global resource in today’s society, and comes in many forms: from intellectual property, to personal data, to money. To protect such critical data, it is important to recognise that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution when it comes to security at data centres. Of the many projects we have been involved with, no two have been the same, and each has been carefully considered to ensure the most appropriate security solution is specified.

“At ASSA ABLOY UK Specification, we are proud of our extensive knowledge and expertise, as it means we can adapt our offering to fit the needs of our clients.”
