Business development manager

The physical security product manufacturer Allegion UK has appointed Philip Hamilton as business development manager of its UK business in the north.

Hamilton, pictured, joins after 25 years in sales roles, with experience across a number of electronic security products manufacturers including Gardiner Technology as Area Sales Manager. There, he managed day-to-day running of the Birmingham branch while generating new business and developing existing customers. At Allegion, he will cover electronic access control, biometrics and hospitality products, working with channel partners and distributors.

Marc Lengahan, commercial director of Allegion UK and Ireland, said: “It’s a delight to be able to welcome Hamilton to the team as business development manager. Phil brings with him a wealth of experience in the electronic security market, and we’re excited to see the innovative ideas he brings in his new role.”
