Bank doors

by Mark Rowe

ASSA ABLOY Security Doors has designed, made and installed a range of security doors in a Middle Eastern bank.

The company’s Safeguard Timber Doors were installed, in a discreet design, according to the manufacturers, deterring unwanted attention. Powershield fire doors were also fitted, which have been tested to both British and European standards. ASSA ABLOY Security Doors also supplied bespoke doorsets and security locking in line with the building’s sharp design.

Nigel Cronin, Sales Manager for ASSA ABLOY Security Doors, said: “We are very excited to be involved in securing such a challenging build, which demands such high security. Projects like this highlight ASSA ABLOY Security Doors’ capacity to cater to very high security specifications, particularly the ability to safeguard buildings at risk of attack.”

The makers add that the doors are fire tested by Warrington fire and covered by Certifire approval and can protect against the spread of flame and smoke for up to 240 minutes, in accordance with BS 476 Part 22 and EN 1634-1: 2000. For further information, visit www.assaabloy.co.uk/securitydoors
