ASSA ABLOY at London Build Expo

by Mark Rowe

To highlight its new bespoke consultancy services and design led specification, all for sustainable building design, ASSA ABLOY is exhibiting at London Build Expo 2015.

On stand A46 at London Build, UK Specification, a business division of ASSA ABLOY UK, is to showcase its ability to act in a design-led consultative capacity, offering advice, including knowledge of influences such as BIM, on architectural ironmongery and doorset specifications. UK Specification’s newly launched Skyline range will be on display.

ASSA ABLOY Access Control will complement UK Specification to demonstrate the latest Aperio access products, which now feature battery-powered locks, cylinders, and escutcheons for online or offline integration into new or existing access systems.

Tina Hughan, Marketing Director at ASSA ABLOY UK, said: “The UK construction industry is set for high levels of growth in the coming years, with London and the South of England expected to be at the forefront. With the introduction of UK Specification, the event is one that ASSA ABLOY is very much looking forward to attending. From the global leader in door opening solutions, the launch of a new business division has evolved from an intense journey of learning and adopting BIM principles alongside understanding sustainable design. Complementing this, our popular Aperio Access Control solutions, highlights our intent to become the total provider of the highest quality architectural ironmongery and innovative doorsets.

“London Build 2015 allows us to bring together our extensive expertise from being part of ASSA ABLOY to provide added value and knowledge, together with the flexibility to directly engage with architects, design led contractors, property development companies and end users.”
