Sentry360, March Networks integrate

by Mark Rowe

Sentry 360, the US megapixel surveillance camera firm, has integrated with March Networks Command Video Management System (VMS) software.

Thomas Carnevale, founder and CEO of Sentry360 said: “These high megapixel (up to 14K), panoramic, Ultra-Resolution surveillance cameras deliver an exciting combination with Command VMS. We believe the incorporated value of our technologies brings a swift ROI to large potential customers in transportation, financial institutions and critical infrastructure.”

The open March Networks Command VMS supports recording platforms and hundreds of IP edge devices through proprietary protocol and the ONVIF standard. The software is able to support system configuration and administration – in addition to live and archived access – via a browser-based client interface.

Net Payne, CMO of March Networks, said: “We are pleased to add Sentry360 surveillance cameras to our extensive list of Command camera integrations. The benefits of Sentry360’s detailed, high-definition image capture, combined with the openness and scalability of our VMS software, offers customers even more flexibility when deploying a complete IP video surveillance solution.”

Sentry360 argue “less is more” and means fewer cameras to buy and install without sacrificing forensic detail or situational awareness. March Networks Command offers a Visual Finder and thumbnails to find video in a fraction of the time it could typically take to locate what you need, the firm says.
