SANS in London

by msecadm4921

SANS London 2012, a  training event for information security people will this year move from its usual venue at East London’s Excel conference centre to the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden. SANS London 2012  will run at the Grand Connaught Rooms, Covent Garden, London from November 26 to December 3. More information can be found at http://www.sans.org/london-2012/

Gareth Dance, the Conference Director for SANS EMEA, says: “The decision has been made based on extensive feedback received from students over the last few years. Excel has been a great location for us in terms of facilities but the ease of travel links into the capital and the availability of such a great venue as the Grand Connaught Rooms will offer a better experience for our students.”

SANS is working with nearby hotels to secure some special rates for participants. SANS are also offering ‘Early Bird Discounts’ of up to €400 for students that register and pay for any five- or six-day course by Wednesday, October 10.

The London event offers 13 hands-on technical security courses addressing intrusion detection, penetration testing and ethical hacking, forensics, compliance and other areas. “The combination of a good range of courses at a great new venue in the heart of London will make SANS 2012 an event not to be missed,” Dance adds.
