Middle East trio

Mayflex Middle East has announced a trio of new recruits for its Excel range of copper, fibre, and cabinet products in the region.

Joining as Business Development Manager with responsibility for Qatar is Krishna Thangavelu, who has relocated from the UK to take up this role after a number of years working for Draka in technical and product management roles. Krishna will be supporting of the Excel approved partners in Qatar, as well as gaining specification and approval from consultants, government departments and key end user verticals.

Reji Raghavan has joined from Telematics where he most recently was pre-sales manager, and will be based in the Mayflex regional head office in Dubai providing pre-sales, and project management support to Excel field sales and partners across the Gulf.

And Andy Gomez from August will take the role of Strategic Business Development Manager. Andy was a number of years at cabling provider Brand-Rex and will be responsible for the development of strategic accounts across the integrator and specification markets. Mayflex Group Managing Director Andrew Percival, pictured, said: ‘I am delighted with the calibre of people we have added to the Middle East team over the past six weeks. The market for the Excel brand is growing month on month across EMEA and we are very confident that the expanded team will help this to continue and provide a superior level of support and service to our customer base in the region.’

And Ross McLetchie who joined the business in October 2012 has been promoted to Excel Sales Manager for UAE and the Gulf Region.
