The networking product company D-Link is hosting free nationwide ‘on the road’ events aimed at physical security integrators, installers and IT resellers.
A blend of IP surveillance market intelligence, demonstrations of hardware and software, and training, the events will focus on the infrastructure required to deliver a security system. D-Link describes itself as a vendor offering what the firm calls a complete end-to-end IP solution, in terms of the infrastructure required and the support needed to help resellers deliver it.
On show will be network switches, ranging from unmanaged and smart switches, to fully managed devices, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Auto Surveillance VLAN. A range of IP cameras for all applications will be shown, and storage solutions such as D-Link’s JustConnect NVR – a single unit comprising an NVR and PoE switch. The firm will also demonstrate the free D-ViewCam Video Management Software (VMS) that enables users to manage multiple cameras for businesses centrally, with the multi-NVR viewer software that offers video display, storage and management.
