Dahua Technology, the Chinese manufacturer and supplier of video surveillance products based in Hangzhou, has introduced tri-brid HDCVI DVR (DH-HCVR7000-series). The makers say it’s a digital video recorder compatible with three signals: HDCVI, analogue and network.
Hybrid DVR has been brought to market as a solution to mixed CCTV systems, with analogue and network cameras. Likewise with HDCVI technology, installers demand storage devices which can mingle other signals.
The launch of tri-brid HDCVI DVR offers multiple signal access, working with legacy cameras as well as megapixel IP signals. The 7000-series supports 200Mbps network transmission, allowing smooth real-time encoding and play-back; and dual-HDMI output is supported as the storage device accommodates multiple HD signals. With P2P technology, a QR code scan on the device could allow monitoring at mobile phone.
Tim Shen, Marketing Director at Dahua Technology, said: “HDCVI is picking up very promisingly in the market. In order to be more open to other technologies and to usher a wider acceptance by more people, we see tri-brid HDCVI DVR is the driving force to achieve more market share. Even though HDCVI is the in-house innovation but how to keep its interoperability with other technologies is an issue for more people welcoming our solution as people today all want an open system that can easily upgrade and integrate with one and another.
“The point of releasing is to fulfill the existing HDCVI solution. Compared with previous DVRs, DH-HCVR7000-series has been greatly improved in its connectivity and flexibility, and building on this success, we will keep refining our HDCVI to meet customers’ demands.” Visit www.dahuasecurity.com.
