Some 18 months after entering the X-ray security screening industry Totalpost Services Plc has become Astrophysics Inc’s number one distributor in Europe. This is out of several dealers based across Europe.
Totalpost has secured well over £1m of orders for Astrophysics machinery in 2013 to date and reports a very strong pipeline.
This comes following brand building by Totalpost involving a presence at industry focused exhibitions, time taken to engage with the industry via networking events and marketing campaigns.
Managing Director, David Hymers says: “We are delighted that our hard work in building our reputation within this sector is now paying off. When we decided to enter this market it was important that we found a supplier that was able to offer the highest quality of security screening equipment available and with Astrophysics Inc this has been achieved.”
Several members of the Totalpost X-ray security screening team have now been invited out to the Astrophysics head office and manufacturing centre in California to attend an engineering workshop. Totalpost has added complementary products to the range such as cabinet X-ray screening models, hand held screening devices and explosives threat detection.
