Integrated Systems

World Cup stadium system

Among the security products used at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, was RISCO Group’s SynopSYS product, a command and control, access control and customised ticketing and validation system.

Installed at the all-new 44,000 capacity Arena Pantanal in Cuiaba, the product was in use at the stadium’s central control room. RISCO says that its SynopSYS is based on intuitive synoptic maps, integrating security and building management systems and sub-systems, including those from third parties, into a single interface.

The product was to protect from unauthorised entry and counterfeit tickets by securing hundreds of doors and turnstiles. RISCO’s axesplus access control and FIFA-compliant ticketing validation was also in use. Michael Isakov, Managing Director RISCO Security Management Solutions BU said: “We are honoured to have been selected to provide the Arena Pantanal’s security solutions for use at the 2014 World Cup and beyond. Our professional teams worked together with the local integrator to ensure that all integrated systems functioned together seamlessly and efficiently, to ensure a successful and safe mega event.” Visit www.riscogroup.com/uk.
