VMS editions

by Mark Rowe

The electronic security product distributor Norbain is offering customers Wavestore’s new open platform Video Management Software (VMS). The software comes in three editions – Base, Premium and Enterprise. Wavestore’s VMS is available as software only, compatible with third-party servers, or pre-installed on a range of Wavestore NVRs and HVRs.

Glenn Fetcher, Head of Sales for Wavestore, says: “Wavestore combines powerful ‘any source’ video, audio and data management with deep integration across multiple technologies. It is, therefore, able to support a wide range of products in the Norbain catalogue, including access control and intruder sensors, as well as high megapixel, UHD 4K, HD, 360° fisheye, thermal and analogue cameras. This makes it possible for users to effortlessly operate, monitor, control and manage a best-in-breed total security solution from a single screen.”

Based on a Linux platform, Wavestore offers features such as instantaneous video recall via its play-bar search function and three-click evidential export to a host of video formats alongside a Graphical User Interface (GUI).

Installers who source a Wavestore solution from Norbain will automatically be able to enrol in the Wavestore ‘Better Together’ Partner Programme for companies involved in the design, installation and commissioning of video surveillance. On offer are project registration and system design support, as well as access to training, demonstration licences and PR services.
