The control room video wall product company eyevis UK and Milestone Systems, the IP video management software firm, have announced an alliance partnership. The two will work together through the new eyevis video wall plugin for Milestone’s XProtect platform.
eyevis products include industrial modular displays, LED illuminated rear projection and narrow bezel industrial LCDs; video wall controllers and video wall control software.
According to the firms, the plugin within XProtect allows Milestone users to control any eyevis video wall and any other connected displays, from the Milestone XProtect Smart Client. XProtect users now have access to the features of eyevis video wall, and can display on the video wall IP and analogue video; workstation graphic sources such as access control, alarm monitoring, mapping; web and intranet based data; TV news feeds; RSS news and organisational status feeds; and data from mobile devices such as iPad, Android and phones.
