Swedish show for GJD

by Mark Rowe

GJD, the British manufacturer of external detector equipment and LED illuminators, is exhibiting for the first time at the Swedish exhibition Sectech. The show runs at the Scandic Talk Hotel in Stockholm on November 11 and 12, 2015.

Sectech is a meeting point for suppliers, installers, consultants and purchasing managers in the Scandinavian security industry. Exhibitors and visitors can see product demonstrations and receive the latest updates on new technologies. Ana Maria Sagra-Smith, GJD’s International Sales and Marketing Director said: “We are looking forward to attending the two day exhibition as it is a great opportunity to meet with existing and prospective customers in person. It is also the perfect time to showcase our new IP product range.”

GJD will display various products including its D-TECT 3, pictured. That can be used to control cameras, connect to alarm panels and communicate with GJD’s lighting control.

Visitors to the GJD stand 06:80 will also be able to view the new D-TECT IP range. The IP-based detectors provide real-time remote access to enable remote monitoring and programming from anywhere, at any time. The range also integrates with third party VMS (video management software) and CCTV systems. Also on view will be GJD’s Laser-Watch surveillance sensor, for detecting objects and humans. It is said by the Lancashire-based firm to be a solution for police stakeout operations and other temporary perimeter security systems including harbours, airports, large industrial areas and freight terminals.
The company’s Infra-Red and White-Light Clarius LED illuminators will also be on show.
