Router variant

by Mark Rowe

New from signalling product company CSL is a new variant of the CSL Router. This new variant comes with two network diverse 4G WorldSIMs, one active and one on standby for resilience.

CSL Router has been used in over 4,000 installations since its launch in 2018, providing connectivity for CCTV, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air-conditioning), EAS (electronic article surveillance in retail), Access Control, Payment Terminals and more. Among its industry awards; the Innovative Security Project of the Year at the British Security Awards.

The range now includes single and dual SIM options. Both send data via 4G, providing an encrypted connection to the internet on sites where wired broadband is unavailable, impractical or slow, the product developers say. On both single and dual SIM variants, a single static IP address allows remote access into the system without interfering with any IT infrastructure.

CSL Sales Director, Rob Evans, said: “It is our ongoing commitment to provide installers with reliable solutions with even greater resilience and CSL Router with Dual 4G WorldSIM does exactly that. We’ve already had some great feedback following successful trials of the product and I am very excited to now launch this to the wider market.”
