ISD Tech, a life safety and security systems integrator, has appointed Gary Aimson as International Key Account Director based out of the company’s headquarters in Camberley, Surrey.

Reporting to Managing Director, Nicky Stokes, Gary will be responsible for business development in the UK and across core Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) markets and beyond. His other main duty will be to manage key international accounts.

Gary brings with him over 20 years’ security industry experience gained through various sales and account management roles. He most recently held senior business development positions at access control product company TDSi and before that was five years with Reliance High-Tech.

Gary Aimson said: “Joining ISD Tech presented a fantastic opportunity to be part of fast paced and growing company that has a passion for customer service and technology. A 2008 family-founded business, ISD Tech has quickly penetrated the enterprise market, consistently delivering complex and multi-site life safety and security solutions for a range of blue-chip customers. I am very excited to have the chance to help build on these recent achievements both here in the UK and internationally.”

Nicky Stokes, ISD Tech, Managing Director, added: “Gary’s industry experience, track record in solution sales and technical knowledge will bring huge benefits to the continued growth of our business and the support of our customers. His directorship will ensure we continue to take a very personalised and consultative approach in helping our customers manage their risk, while providing them with first-class life safety and security services.”

The appointment follows ISD Tech’s continued growth that saw a 40pc increase in revenue in 2015 as a result of a winning a number of customers from across IT services, high-end retail and critical infrastructure sectors, the firm reports. The company points also to its decision to bring life safety systems into its portfolio of integrated services in late 2014, which has enabled customers to use it as a single source partner for fire and security.
