Integrated Systems

Head of Service and Maintenance

by Mark Rowe

Paul Baxter, a former apprentice, has been promoted to the newly-created role of Head of Service and Maintenance for Evolution Security, the security and fire installation business.

Having started in the security industry in 1990 at the age of 18, Paul joined the firm in 1998 as an installation engineer. Promoted to Project Manager and more recently Senior Project Manager, Paul has been providing direct support to the Operations Director on a number of the larger sites the Buckinghamshire-based company is responsible for. In his new role Paul is overseeing the expansion of the Service and Maintenance operation, comprising not only a dedicated team of service and maintenance engineers, but also working with the Technical Support team. Evolution says that its engineers have the highest levels of security clearance enabling them to work in the most sensitive commercial, industrial and military sites.

Paul, pictured, says: “Our teams not only provide service and maintenance. They also advise our clients on new technology and thinking, and appropriate modifications or upgrades that may further enhance systems’ reliability and performance, reduce energy consumption and ultimately reduce our clients’ service and maintenance bill.”

Richard Lambert, Managing Director of Evolution Security, says: “Evolution has built an impressive list of long-term relationships with blue chip clients, clients who have come to trust our support in making the most out of the systems installed. Creating this new position is a clear signal of the importance we attach to service and maintenance as an essential part of our total solution.”
