by Mark Rowe

The audio visual product company eyevis UK and video management software company Meyertech have announced a strategic partnership agreement.

The two companies will use their products to supply control rooms, CCTV and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) markets. The two companies have already been working on a number of areas. Meyertech’s scalable fourth generation VMS FUSION-Eclipse is complemented by eyevis’ visual display solutions with their joint PSIM integration.

Nano, the Video Management Software (VMS), is the first to be created exclusively for ONVIF devices and all eyevis video wall controllers are ONVIF compliant.

Manchester-based Meyertech develops Video Management Software and makes hardware products for the CCTV surveillance and Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) markets. eyevis UK specialises in video wall displays for use in control centres; and software. Its video wall controllers allow the direct display of IP video streams from the majority of IP video manufacturers, in addition to analogue video and graphic data from PC and networked sources.

eyevis UK managing director Steve Murphy said: “Meyertech is a market leader and the compatibility of our products and services means that we can work together to provide high quality and unique solutions for security and CCTV control room clients. We are delighted to announce this strategic alliance partnership agreement and look forward to working on security projects both nationally and internationally.”

David Wood, of Meyertech said: “We are pleased to announce our partnership with eyevis UK, we believe that this integration is a perfect fit leveraging the respective strengths of the two leading companies, focusing our combined energies to serve a broader range of customers with our industry leading solutions.”

eyevis UK, which has bases in London, Manchester and Lancashire, provides video display solutions and audio visual solutions to a range of clients.

Its equipment is installed across the UK in CCTV control rooms for local authorities, banks, road traffic monitoring, emergency services, blue chip retailers, security services, prisons and other Government buildings.

New eyevis UK demonstration venues allow a wide range of sectors, including CCTV, security and traffic control to witness at first hand the state-of-the-art products which can help them.

The venues, in Euston, London, and Stockport, Manchester, are operated on an appointment basis and clients can provide details of the issues they face in advance so eyevis UK can demonstrate how their technology can help.
