Demo day

by Mark Rowe

CCTV and monitoring equipment companies are holding a free seminar and technology demo day to educate West Midlands companies about remote video monitoring. Held at security firm Cougar Monitoring’s head offices in Powke Lane, Cradley Heath on October 17, the event will run from 10am to 1.30pm.

Organised by CCTV manufacturers Optex, Raytec, Samsung, Milestone and Cougar Monitoring, the day will see them demonstrating their security kits, with staff from each company available to answer questions and offer advice and training. A security consultant Tony Lloyd will give a short presentation on how remote CCTV monitoring should be designed and monitored effectively. Plus, the latest perimeter detection for fences will be on display, showing examples of how this can be installed and integrated with CCTV and lightning.

The event will also include a lunch, a tour of Cougar Monitoring’s ARC and the opportunity to meet the manufacturers on a one to one basis as well as network with other delegates.
