Control room partners

by Mark Rowe

BT Redcare and icomply have agreed a partnership. Redcare View, the latest addition to the Redcare products, is now integrated into icomply’s control room software.

Redcare View is described as a re-deployable, end-to-end video surveillance system. Redcare View allows viewing of footage in real time helping to minimise response times, the firms say.

Brian Jackson, head of sales, BT Redcare Surveillance said: “It’s great to be able to team up with icomply and offer customers the benefits we both bring to the market place. I’m really looking forward to working together, there’s lots of opportunities out there that we can capitalise on.” And Michael Gallagher, pictured, Business Development Director at icomply Ltd, added: “icomply are delighted to integrate BT Redcare View into our VTAS open integrated software platform, continuing with our approach of enabling our customer’s choice and connectivity to industry leading technologies.”

Redcare says that it’s present in over 80pc of the UK’s public authority control rooms. It connects over 44,000 CCTV channels in public space to control rooms; and carries over half a million video images per second using BT Redcare’s video networks – that’s over 43 billion a day.
