Agent Video Intelligence (Agent Vi), the Israeli provider of video analytics software, has launched “BI Portal”. That’s a cloud-based video analytics service which allows aggregation, analysis and presentation of data acquired from surveillance systems, through a web-based interface.
BI Portal is a cloud-based service added to savVi – Agent Vi’s video analytics platform which provides real-time event detection, video search, and business intelligence. It enables the aggregation of business and operations-related data acquired by CCTV, such as people and vehicle counting, occupancy, crowding and speed analysis. Such data is analysed and presented in statistical reports and graphs.
BI Portal benefits customers such as retailers and other multi-site operators, who require insight into operations at their various sites. The web interface, which is accessible from the user’s computer or mobile device, enables analysis of retail or other site activity at locations as well as comparison of the performance of the sites. This data can further be used to allow identification of trends and predictions of traffic and other parameters such as activity, occupancy and more, at each site, the developers add.
