Integrated Systems

Canon Europe, Nedap partner

by Mark Rowe

Canon Europe has been accredited as a hardware security partner by Nedap.

Canon’s range of network cameras are available to Nedap’s customers through compatibility with Nedap’s AEOS security management software and provides video management to installers and end-users.

Nedap’s AEOS product will provide access control, intrusion detection, video management and locker management in one integrated platform. Nedap customers already using AEOS for video management can now upgrade to any of Canon’s cameras. The integrated platform will also support future additions to Canon’s network camera range.

Albert Dercksen, head of research and development, Nedap Security Management., says: “There is a lot of change within security management, which is why we look to produce an agile solution that can adapt with our customer’s needs. Our software supports Canon’s cameras perfectly, and joint customers will benefit from an easier to use platform that displays a high quality range of analytics and advanced solutions.”

And Julian Rutland, Product Strategy and Planning Director, Network Security Cameras, says: “We are constantly looking for ways to improve our customers experience with our network camera range. Nedap’s AEOS is compatible with our existing security equipment. This includes our popular M and H series as well as new additions, which is great news for our customers who want to future proof their security solution. This means that customers are reassured that their security is always fully optimised and of the highest quality.”
