Ipsotek, the UK based supplier of scenario based video analytics, has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the Australia and New Zealand distributor, Hills.

Expanding Ipostek’s reach and support to cover Australasia, the new distribution agreement was signed after interest was shown during Ipsotek’s attendance at the recent annual Security Exhibition & Conference 2015, in Melbourne.

Hills offers technology for health, security, AV and communications applications. Mark Shannon, Vendor Business Manager at Hills, said: “We are delighted to partner with Ipsotek, as their exciting product suite will supremely compliment our range of VMS solutions. Video Content Analysis (VCA), provides a powerful set of capabilities to allow users to maximise their investment not only in video surveillance, but also in business, where analytics can provide a useful tool for marketing and other commercial purposes. When integrated with video surveillance, Ipsotek’s VCA adds an incredible level of systems intelligence that we are sure our customers will be eager to exploit.”

And Bill Flind, Chief Executive of Ipsotek Ltd, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to partner with Hills in Australia and New Zealand. The company is a market leader in the region, and has the experience and commitment to support Ipsotek’s advanced video analytic solutions across a host of key vertical market applications. The positive response from end-users at the recent Security Exhibition & Conference 2015 show was extremely encouraging. From that show, we are now working closely with Hills on several key government and commercial projects.”
