Integrated Systems

2N at IFSEC

by Mark Rowe

The telecommunications and intercom product company 2N will be exhibiting at IFSEC International show at ExCel, London from June 17 to 19. Distributed in the UK by CIE-Group, 2N provides a range of IP-addressable audio, intercom and door entry product for telecoms and security users. At the global security industry exhibition, 2N will be demonstrating the latest additions to their products including their new Helios IP Verso HD Modular Door Entry System.

The Helios IP Verso, pictured, is a modular security intercom system, for a range of corporate and public sector applications. It is the only security device the makers say on the market that records HD quality content in total darkness and in all conditions.

Helios IP Verso has options for HD camera with an infrared light and night vision, or a smart card reader. The system can be integrated with any current third party CCTV and monitoring system and, thanks to programmable scripts, can be used as a security component for whole building protection, the makers say.

Built around a choice of Basic Door Entry units, the Verso range offers other function modules (such as keypads, call buttons, RFID card readers, induction loop, LED information panels) which can be added and extended to meet the needs of the client and site.Features also include:

• Hack resistant OS
• mechanical resistance
• Remote trigger switch control
• Thief protection system
• Security platform Integration

Also on show at IFSEC will be the other security products from the 2N range:

Mobile Audio Gateway: a new product allowing voice announcements through a standard / existing PA system to be delivered from a mobile or landline telephone.

NETSpeaker Audio-over-IP: controlled via a PC-based Central Management Software tool, the 2N NetSpeaker System allows the user to stream music, recorded voice announcements, tones, jingles and promotions or live paging announcements to any on-site zone, remote site or multiple zones/sites via a standard web, LAN or WAN connection.
