Work update

by Mark Rowe

The workplace equipment supplier Slingsby has launched its 2014 edition of Work-It, a free publication that offers legislative updates, interviews and articles as well as a selection of the company’s products and offers.

This year’s 64 page ‘magalogue’, catalogue with magazine, is available free in a digital format through www.slingsby.com. It includes interviews with Alex Botha, CEO of the British Safety Council, and BOTT, the producer of workplace storage products, and case studies including Centre Parcs and the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium. Guides cover everything from accommodating employees that cycle to work and new legislation on the storage of chemicals to energy efficiency and the Corporate Manslaughter Act.

Slingsby supplies more than 35,000 workplace products to businesses and organisations across all industries. Lee Wright, Marketing Director of Slingsby, says: “This is the fifth time we have produced Work-It and each time it gets bigger and is read by a wider audience than the previous issue. Combining topical articles and thought-provoking interviews with seasonal products and special offers is a hugely successful formula that is well received by businesses and workplaces across all industries and this issue is no different.

“We are also delighted to secure high-profile interviews with Center Parcs, which has just invested £250m in a new state of the art holiday park at Woburn, and Alex Botha of the British Safety Council which continues to save lives and improve safety in workplaces throughout the UK and beyond.”
