Welwyn Garden City contract

Savills, the property agents, have awarded the facilities management (FM) contractor Incentive FM Group a contract to provide a range of services at The Howard Centre in Welwyn Garden City.

Under the terms of a three-year deal worth £1.5m-plus, the security arm Incentive Lynx and cleaning arm Incentive QAS will be responsible for the 240,000 sq ft centre’s security and cleaning.

The Howard Centre in the heart of the Hertfordshire town centre with 53 units, a mix of retail and food outlets under one roof. It has around eight million visitors a year.

As part of the remit Incentive FM Group will provide a single manager responsible for ten security guards and seven cleaners. Its Leviy Contract Management Solution will be used to optimise the service levels, promoting transparency and bringing key insights, the contract firm adds. NFC tagging will used to monitor cleaning patterns.
