Top employer for fifth year

Compass Group UK & Ireland’s security specialist company, Vision Security Group (VSG), has been certified as a “Top Employer” for a fifth year. The company, was recognised by The Top Employers Institute as a “Top Employer UK 2016” for providing its colleagues with an excellent working environment, during a ceremony on Wednesday, 10 February. The Top Employers Institute analyses employers on a number of criteria including workforce planning, culture, leadership development, performance management, talent strategy as well as learning and development. VSG, which employs more than 6500 people across 2000 sites in the UK, has now met these standards annually for the past five years. Barry Dawson, Business Director at VSG, said: “It is a great achievement for VSG to be certified as a Top Employer for the fifth year in a row and we are extremely proud of what we have achieved so far. Our people are key to our business’ success and are central to everything we do. We remain dedicated to providing an outstanding working environment for our colleagues while also offering great benefits as well as excellent training and development opportunities.”

Launched in 2000, VSG offers what it terms total security solutions include guarding, system, remote monitoring, training and background screening.
