Sodexo crowns staff

Sodexo employees were recognised for their skills and achievements at the Service Excellence Awards, at Ascot Racecourse. The event saw security, cleaning, health and wellbeing, grounds and building maintenance employees come together and be recognised for their hard work. Winners were judged on their day-to-day performance within their roles, ability to be creative and innovative, and their overall customer service expertise. Kath Hodgkiss from Solvay Interox who picked up the Security Officer of the Year Award in recognition of her performance and dedication to her role. Karl Jolly from Diligenta, John Pounder from Heineken Hereford and Derick Allen from P&G Reading, each received security service excellence awards.

 

 

Teams who were recognised include the Northern Arboriculture Tree team from Warrington, Leuchars and Wakefield, who won the Horticultural Services Team of the Year Award; and the team at Larkhill Garrison who earned a Cleaning Service Excellence Award. Other winners from the event include:

 

The team at Portlaoise School, who picked up the Technical Services Team of the Year Award 

Scott Tarling and Victorino Patac from Hackney Community College, the Lloyds Banking Group delivery team and Lee Culpitt from Swanscombe Schools, who each picked up Technical Services Service Excellence Awards 

The team at Harris Academy South Norwood who picked up the Cleaning Team of the Year accolade 

Jamie Emblow from Yorkshire Water who was judged to be the Fitness Instructor of the Year by Healthworks 10,000 members 

Sarah Kearvell from Johnson & Johnson and Karen Roberts from Paypal, who each earned a Healthworks Service Excellence Award 

 

Centre of Excellence director, Kathy Ridgard, said: Everyday, our employees go above and beyond their immediate responsibilities to deliver service excellence. This event was a great way to recognise the hard work and commitment that Sodexo’s frontline employees displayed over the last year and I would like to congratulate all winners and runners up for their outstanding achievements.”
