The facilities management company Mitie reports that it has extended its relationship with Sky, the satellite broadcaster, for an extra five years.

The expanded, multi-million pound, will see the contractor continue to provide integrated facilities management across Sky’s estate in UK and Ireland. Services being delivered include mechanical and electrical maintenance, security, front of house, cleaning, helpdesk, switchboard, mailroom management, waste management, landscaping and health and safety.

Gather & Gather, Mitie’s catering offering, also provides a range of bespoke cafes, restaurants and coffee bars across the estate.

Phil Holland, Managing Director of Mitie’s Integrated Facilities Management business, said: “We are delighted to build on the long-standing relationship we have enjoyed with Sky over the past three years. Being a trusted and innovative partner to Sky has helped us create a truly collaborative partnership and we look forward to continuing to create exceptional environments for Sky employees, clients and guests.”

And Nick Green, Director of Property Service Group at Sky, said: “As our new campus takes shape in Osterley, and we continue to invest in our sites around the UK in order to create the very best working environment for our people, we’re delighted to extend our partnership with Mitie.”

Mitie has been delivering integrated facilities management to Sky in the UK and Ireland since 2012. The new agreement extends this partnership to January 2023.
