The firm Advance Security has rebranded as Cordant Security with a new website and corporate identity. The company has announced that it will be recruiting another 350 staff to support existing and new clients, as well as investing in technology, to support the new culture of solution collaboration. Cordant Security is a specialist division of Cordant Services, describing itself as the UK’s eighth largest security provider, with over 4,700 staff managing 1200 sites for 300 customers, particularly in the retail and supply chain sectors. A UK-wide restructuring last year saw the creation of sector specific service platforms and the internal promotions.
Edward Macfarlane, the new MD of Cordant Security, said: “We are looking forward to bolstering our already highly able workforce with 350 new recruits from across the UK and developing this talent within the business, building teams that make a difference. Our collaboration approach will see us looking at new and innovative ways to deliver security solution by challenging the norm.”
The Hillingdon, north west London-based security contractor also offers mobile, keyholding and alarm response services in UK towns and cities for out-of-hours security cover, and can provide design, installation and management of security systems. The company points to a client retention rate of over 95 per cent.
