Promoted to MD

Chris Wisely has been promoted from Head of Operations to the newly-created role of Managing Director of Axis Security, part of the Axis Group of security, reception management, and cleaning and support services companies. He will report to Group Chief Executive, Jonathan Levine.
 
Chris, pictured, has worked in the security industry for more than 20 years and joined Axis in 2009 as Finance Director before progressing to Head of Operations in 2012.
 
In the five years he has been with the business, he has worked with the senior managers in the company’s operations, including the launch of its bespoke online portal – Axis e-connect – giving customers access to live reports. He has the firm adds also overseen investment in employee training, and played a key role in creating specialist teams to manage recruitment, training, compliance, contract mobilisation and health and safety.
 
Jonathan Levine says: “Axis Security has an enviable reputation in the industry, with a record ACS score and yet more nominations in this year’s Security and Fire Excellence Awards. We also want to be known as the best employer in the industry and have made great strides in developing a comprehensive training programme for our officers and management staff, allowing us to develop and retain the best people at all levels.”
